Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments

Once you feel comfortable dueling, check out Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments in your area. There are local, regional and national tournaments available. Even if you're not ready to participate, you might want to go and watch one; you can learn a lot and they're a lot of fun.

Don't Be Afraid to Start New Decks!

Once you have a great Yu-Gi-Oh! deck built, don't be afraid to start new decks. I have six decks and am working on my seventh. It's always fun to have more for variety, and you can see what different strategies are used. If you come up against a deck that you have constructed, you know how to beat it! See "Building Your Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck" for more on how to build your Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck.

Thanks for coming to my site! I hope you found the information you were looking for. Here are a few other things I thought of that might be helpful. Please come back to visit often, I'll be updating this page (and site) as things change. And tell your friends!

My Secret Deck Strategy, by Yu-Gi-Oh MAX!

If you want to have an Instant Win deck, then you'll need to draw the right cards. I have come up with an ultimate drawing machine. It's a combo with Vengeful Shinobi and Scrap Iron Scarecrow. Vengeful Shinobi's ability is, when it's in Attack Mode and it's selected as a target (meaning another monster is going to attack it), you can draw 1 card. Scrap Iron Scarecrow can block the attack on Vengeful Shinobi, and instead of going to the Graveyard, Scrap Iron Scarecrow is returned to the field face down. Once it's face down, you can activate it again. Be careful: you don't want to draw too many cards. If you keep activating these, you'll draw a lot of cards. (When you have no cards left to draw in a duel, you lose.)

Keep Your Cards Organized!

Recently I was looking through a pile of my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and I came across a card I've been looking for for years! It's called Exarion Universe. So this is a reminder: don't forget to look back through your cards. If you're a real Yu-Gi-Oh! fan like me, you'll want to keep them organized (like I didn't!) so consider getting a notebook and sheets to organize your cards (the ones you're not dueling with). Check out the Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff under "Yu-Gi-Oh! Gifts and Stuff" and you'll find sheets that will work for your collection.

Yu-Gi-Oh! TV Show

The Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D TV show is on a lot of cable channels. In my area (Oregon) it's on at 11 a.m. on Saturdays. Check your local listings. The show will give you updates on cards and new strategies: tell your parents you need to watch it to do research!

Shonen Jump!

Shonin Jump is a great way to stay updated on new cards. Shonin Jump is a magazine that comes out monthly and it includes information on cards, strategies and more. It's very helpful!
