| Jack
Atlas is a man who wields Red Dragon Arch Fiend. He is
one of the signers of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5ds He used to be Russel's
friend back at the satellite but a person named Iuzai talked
Jack into stealing Yusei's Duel Runner and Yusei's Stardust
Dragon. |

| Yusei
Fudo: He is 18 and wields Stardust Dragon and is one of
the signers. He is very protective of his friends and has
a special bond with his cards. |

| Rex
Goodwin's character is a signer and is trying to summon
the Crimson Dragon. To do that he has to get all the other
signers to show their dragons, and have their marks show. |
 |
| |
|
| Akiza
Izinski is 18 and is sometimes referred to as "Black
Rose" or a "Witch." She has the Black Rose
Dragon and is one of the signers. She also has special power
that she can't control, which is why she is part of the Arcadia
movement. |
 |
| Luna
is 11 and has a deck based on spirits and fairies. She always
gets tired after a duel and is one of the signers, which came
as a big shock to Yusei and his friends. |

| Greiger's
character has a deck of reactors, for example Trap Reactor
RR. His village was destroyed by the Crimson Dragon and he
is trying to fix it. But the thing is: there is nothing left
to fix. |

|
| Sayer
is the leader of the Arcadia Movement, which is a group of
people with powers like Azika's. They try to control their
powers. He has a deck based on psychic cards, for example
Overdrive Teleporter. |

| Lazar's
character has a deck of Jester Court Cards (for example,
Jester Lord). He and Goodwin designed the Fortune Cup to draw
out the signers. |

| Atticus
Rhodes is Alexis's missing brother. He disappeared from the
academy mysteriously. |

| Tyranno
Hassleberry: Tyranno first battled Jaden, but quickly came to
idolize him. Although his dorm is Ra Yellow, he lives in Slifer
Red to be closer to and learn from Jaden. He often fights with Syrus
over who is better suited to being Jaden's best friend. |

|
| Chumley
Huffington failed his first year exams and had to retake that
year. He has an Australian themed deck, but never seems to win when
it matters! |

|
| Bastion
Misawa is a fierce duelist and has made six decks to meet every
situation. He considers Jaden his fiercest rival. |
 |
| Dr.
Vellian Crowler is head of the Obelisk Blue dorm. Like Chazz,
he believes only the best duelists should be allowed into the academy.
He especially dislikes Jaden, who defeated him in the entrance exams. |

| Lyman
Banner is a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX character who is one of the teachers
attached to the Slifer Red Dorm, where Jaden and his friends live.
Lyman seems interested in Jaden, but he may have his own reasons
for that. |

| Zane
Truesdale is Syrus's brother and is top of the third year class
at the academy. He has a near perfect game, but that doesn't stop
Jaden from trying to defeat him. |

Yugi
Moto After being given the pieces of the ancient Egyptian artifact
called the Millennium Puzzle by his grandfather, Yugi spent eight
years trying to solve the puzzle. When he solved it, unleashed a spell
created by the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Atem. When Yugi solved the
puzzle, both the magic of the Shadow Games and Atem's soul were released,
and Yugi's body became host to the spirit of Atem. Yugi
wears
the Millennium Puzzle on a chain around his neck. Yugi is boyish,
but when he becomes the Pharaoh, he becomes more serious-looking and
appears older. He often wears a KaibaCorp Duel Disk on his left arm.

Tea
Gardner: Tea became good friends with Joey and Tristan, although
she doesn't really like them at first. Tea does not usually play games
with Yugi and his friends, but is there as the voice of reason.

| Tristan
Taylor: Sometimes Tristan is quick to panic, but he does whatever
it takes to support and help his friends.
|
|

|
| Joey
Wheeler: Once a wild and tough street kid, Joey learned the value
of friendship to become Yugis loyal pal. Although Joey can be
hotheaded and rash, he has a heart of gold and would do anything for
his friends, especially his younger sister, who needs an eye operation.
It is for her Joey duels.

| Seto
Kaiba is foundr of KaibaCorp, a multinational corporation. His
real passio, though is Duel Monsters. He uses his ruthless business
drive to overcome any who challenger.
|
|
| |
|
Mai
Valentine was a powerful, successful duelist with her Harpie-themed
deck, but had no friends, and dueled for money and fame only. When
Mai joined the Duelist Kingdom tournament to seek the $3M prize money,
she met Yugi and his friends and formed a real friendship with them
after they rescued her Star Chips from the player Panik to help her
stay in the tournament.

| Ryo
Bakura possesses the Millennium Ring, an ancient Egyptian artifact
that helps him seek other Millennium items, but also, unknown to him,
houses an evil spirit that plots to steal Yugi's Millennium Puzzle.
Finally Bakura's good side is almost entirely controlled by the spirit,
except when he is separated from the Ring or able to overpower the
spirit.

| Mokuba
Kaiba is fiercely loyal to his brother, Seto, and will sometimes
try to avenge Seto's humiliations at the gaming table in extraordinary
ways. |

| Yugi's
Grandfather, Solomon Moto, is the one who originally gave Yugi
the Millennium puzzle. |

| Jaden
Yuki is a great duelist but was put into Slifer Red after defeating
Dr. Crowler. He is trying to become the best duelist in the school.
He sometimes has trouble following the rules which can also mean trouble
for his close friends. |

| Alexis
Rhodes : Alexis is a talented duelist in the Obelisk Blue dorm
and is friends with Jaden. She tends to follow the rules more than
he does. She is always looking for clues to solve the disappearance
of her brother who is missing from the academy. |

| Syrus
Truesdale is also friends with Jaden; Syrus thinks of Jaden as
his big brother. Syrus is a great duelist but lacks confidence. |
 |

| Chazz
Princeton's character believes only the best students should
be allowed into the academy, meaning him. He gets pretty cranky when
Jaden, a low level duelist, defeats him! |
